I had to escape the noisy church

Dear Pastor, 
Good day to you. I saw an article posted by you recently about a noisy church that is giving residents hell.  
I used to be a member of this place and I must say this place left me with so much trauma. Day and night these people have us out there making the loudest noise we could possibly make even after 1 a.m. Sometimes when the community is preparing for school or work, we were still out there. As a young person growing up, I used to have to miss out on school to be there day and night shouting on the top of my voice. Sometimes for weeks they would make us miss school and have us on a football field in the community rain or shine. They would make sure we have water boots for the mud. 
 Whenever someone in the community died, if any member attended that funeral, they would separate us from the congregation and say that we are unclean because we mingled with the dead. Even if it’s our own family member’s funeral, we received a warning not to do this, otherwise we would be exiled from the congregation. Things took a turn for the worse when a young lady of this place got pregnant out of marriage and I saw them beating her in the belly with bushes and twigs saying they are beating out the demon. She had to run out of the church to escape. I got so scared that I started to plan my way out and eventually distanced myself. 
 Pastor, right now my sibling attends that church and he can’t talk to any of his relatives. If I die, he can’t come to my funeral. I am an aunt to his children and I have never met them. I can’t buy them any clothes, gifts or anything. I can’t give him any money, not even if they’re sick. He is not allowed to take taxi; he can only drive with them, otherwise he has to walk no matter how far. They have my three-, and four-year-old nephews and nieces out there on 40 days of fasting, starving them. There have been efforts from the children’s father to rescue them from what is happening with this church, but the members are civil servants so they are favoured when the law gets involved. 
There are other people like me who used to be a part of this and they can tell you. The community may be going through a lot with them, but I can tell you that the members of this place face so much more; I don’t know how they stay a part of it. We have our family members who are a part of this group, so Pastor, please keep the members of this group in your prayers as much as the community that surrounds it. We really need it.

Dear P., 
I maintain that we have very adequate laws in this country that can deal with people who cause unnecessary disturbance to the community, and what you have mentioned in your letter is definitely a police matter. 
In addition to that, you have representatives such as your member of parliament and councillors who should help you deal with this matter. If these people you are complaining about are Christians, they should exercise restraint. I also wonder how Christians do not use common sense. I am not here to condemn the leadership of any church, but I do know that some who claim to be of God seem to lack good judgment. Something must be wrong with people who claim to be members of churches where leaders can demand that they should attend services all the time. No religious leader has the right to restrict members of a church from attending funerals or associating themselves with other Christians.  
I repeat, what you have written about is a police matter, and in addition to that, your member of parliament should help you to deal with this matter.
